Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" successfully held the 3rd international conference on "Globalization and Integration into Contemporary Education". In his greeting speech the Rector of the University, Prof.Dr. Skender Topi expressed his appreciation for the engagement and organization of scientific conferences, turning into a promoter of many initiatives, including numerous projects acquired nationally and international. An excellent example of these initiatives is the widespread participation of professors at home and abroad, showing once again that distance does not impede the development of cooperation when the purpose is education. This conference, organized by the Faculty of Education Sciences, serves as a platform for studies, researchers, academics and professionals from around the world, to share new ideas, perspectives and perspectives, contributing to the development of scientific knowledge in the field of education .

The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" in cooperation with the Albanian Red Cross Branch Elbasan and the National Bank of Blood Transfusion, organized voluntary blood donation session at the university premises, under the motto "Donate blood, save a life!"

Like every other year, there was a great readiness of students, academic staff and other employees of this institution to join this initiative, whose contribution will help to thalassemic children.

Leaders of the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", on 4 December 2023, held a meeting with the Commissioner of the General Section at the People's Advocate, Ms. Vilma Shurdha, accompanied by an assistant commissioner who covers the problems of education at the institution.

Deputy Rector of the University, Prof.As.Dr. Peci Naqellari, informed the attendees on the University, study programs and structures available to students. He focused on the problems and concerns that higher education institutions today have.

At the end of the meeting Mrs. Vilma Shurdha, held a meeting with students in order to inform the role and function of the Ombudsperson Institution as a constitutional institution in protecting and promoting human rights.

Partners Albania in cooperation with the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", organized the Information Session on the First Call for Applications of the Challenge Fund.

The objective of this project is to provide financial and technical support to about 50 startups and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with innovative solutions at different stages of their development, through competitive support, networking and exposure schemes in markets national and international.
