In information sessions conducted with the academic staff of the University, Prof. Fetahu, presented the Laia project, which also participates in the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", marking an important step towards cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.

This project, funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 CBH of the European Union 🇪🇺, has united universities from Albania, Kosovo, Greece and Denmark with the aim of creating a master's degree in artificial intelligence in the region enabling experts' formation artificial intelligence.

The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" is hopeful in the positive impact this project will have on strengthening educational capacities, to be contemporary with international market demands, as well as technology development.

In the premises of the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", the book "The Governance of Albania during World War II 1939-1944" was promoted, authored by historian Gjet Ndoj.

In his greeting speech the Deputy Rector of the University of Elbasan, Prof.As.Dr. Peci Naqellari expresses the importance and values ​​that this book brings in academic, historical and social aspects, considering it a good source of reference especially for World War II scholars and Albania's governance during 1939-1944. He also emphasized that promoting books of this nature with genuine studies are a value for the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", which constantly have the support of the Rectorate and EU structures.

The University of Elbasan “Alexander Xhuvani” in cooperation with the Regional Employment Directorate, Elbasan, for the fourth year in a row, held the distribution ceremony of professional practice certificates.

In her greeting speech the Deputy Rector of the University, Prof.Dr. Elvira Fetahu, emphasized the importance of performing professional practices, guaranteeing the acquisition of a qualifying experience, enriching their biography, as well as the further development of professional and personal skills.

Director of the Regional Directorate of the National Employment and Skills Agency of Elbasan, Ms. Marsida Hyseni expressed satisfaction with cooperation with the University of Elbasan in the development of professional practices, as well as congratulate young people for their dedication and professionalism.

The Ambassador of the Lower Order in Tirana Sh.T Reinout Vos paid a visit to the University of Elbasan “Alexander Xhuvani”, where it was initially welcomed by the Deputy Rector of Prof.Dr. Elvira Fetahu, who presented it with the history, contribution and activity of the university in the country, the region and beyond, also discussed the opportunities of institutional cooperation in the field of education.

Mr. Vos then held an open discussion with students, lecturers and representatives of civil society organizations, where they were able to discuss the process, importance and expectations of Albania's European Union integration, without bypassing the added values ​​that Albania will bring to the EU itself.

The University of 'Foro Italy', Rome, held in the National Central Rome Bblioteka, Italy, the conference 'Aquae: a water, a health, sustainable water management between climate change, regulations and new perspectives ".

Present at this conference were participants from academic fields, representatives from local and local government, various health and science institutions, etc.

In his statement, Prof. Topi focused on the importance of the role of education and the search for the preservation of essential assets, the mission of universities in transmitting knowledge, as well as in the preparation of responsible and conscious citizens, capable of facing global challenges competently and integrity.

Ministry of Education and Sports, Ms. Ogerta Manastirliu, closely monitored the trainings taking place at the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" by academic staff.

In her visit, accompanied by the university's management staff, she was able to exchange opinions and proposals with trainers and teachers. It also appreciated the university's premises made by the University for the development of these trainings and not only, describing them as contemporary.
