The Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof. Dr.Skender Topi meets the Rector of the Teachers' Training and Training Academy in Dillingen, Germany

Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof.Dr. Skender Topi visited the Teacher Training and Training Academy in Dilingen/ Germany at the invitation of the Rector of the Academy Dr. Christian Henzler. The focus of the conversation was to establish relationships between the two universities, the possibility of financing the participation of academic and administrative staff in the qualifications and symposiums organized by the Academy, Assistance and Support for the Establishment of a Teacher Qualification Center at the University of Elbasan as well as design of a strategy for training teachers in office, in the fields of social sciences, human and nature sciences, as well as in the field of increased human resources capacity. The Dillingen Teacher Qualification Academy is the Central Institution for Qualification of Pedagogical Personnel for all levels of schools in the Republic of Germany. It offers seminars and courses that support and ensure the increase in the quality of teaching, its perfection and the application of innovations in the field of teaching. For this she cooperates closely with the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Land of Bavaria. In this meeting, the two rectors expressed their readiness for cooperation between the two institutions and emphasized the importance of creating inter -institutional reports as the only way to raise the level of professionals in the field of education. The Rector of the Academy emphasized that he sees Albania, a place of candidates for the EU, as an important partner in the field of education, emphasizing once again the importance of cooperation with higher education institutions in Albania.
