It is organized at the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", conferences in the framework of "International Roma Language Day".

At the University of Elbasan, a conference was organized in the framework of the International Roma Language Day, where history, ethnocultural development, community difficulties and the challenges of preserving Roma language were addressed. The University of Elbasan, as the first and only university in Albania, has an important contribution to the recognition, development and propagation of Roma language, which offers the Bachelor of Study in "Albanian and Roma, also conducting continuous studies for recognition and its spread.

In her greeting speech, Ms. Elvira Fetahu, Deputy Rector of the University of Elbasan, emphasized the role that the university has in recognizing and studying this language, organizing various activities to promote it and resolve the problems that accompany this community.

Mrs. Jutta Gützkow, Head of the Council of Europe's Office in Albania, during the presentation of the Romacted program, emphasized the importance of cooperation for the development of this community and Roma language, the opening and analysis of new curricula and programs for the inclusion of the Roma community in Albania .

The participants present expressed the need to promote integration and project implementation, implement new strategies, increase curricula and improve the quality of their content.
