Activity within the "Family Week"

As part of the "Family Week", the Women's Forum, Elbasan in cooperation with the Faculty of Education Sciences organized on 10.05.2017 at 10:00 an activity with students and lecturers of the Department of Social Sciences and Civic Education. The purpose of this activity was to raise awareness of the community and especially young people on issues related to domestic violence and gender equality. Ms. Mirela John and Mrs. Gentjana Hasalla presented the services provided by the Women's Forum and the awareness projects implemented in the Elbasan region. In this context, Aurora Balukja, a lecturer in the village, delivered an open lecture on "Violence against Women and Girls, a phenomenon to fight". During the activity the students showed interest and discussed the issues addressed. They expressed the desire to be involved through art in activities against violence and gender equality.
