University of Elbasan “Alexander Xhuvani”, Faculty of Education Sciences, Department of Social Work, in cooperation with the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana,

The Faculty of Education of the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi" organized the third international conference "The Achievements and Challenges of the Social Worker in Albania".

The event was attended by representatives of the Municipality of Elbasan, the Directorate of Social Service at this municipality, representatives of Caritas and UNICEF in Albania, as well as a delegation of the project T@Sk.

At this conference, over 120 scientific papers were presented and a roundtable dedicated to social services in the city of Elbasan took place.

In his speech, the Rector of EU, prof. dr. Skender Topi, emphasized the importance of cooperation between domestic and foreign higher education institutions. He also thanked the Municipality of Elbasan, not only for the cooperation so far in the T@Sku project, but also for many joint initiatives that have been undertaken with the focus of Elbasan educational culture and the tradition of this city full of values ​​and culture.
