At the University of Elbasan the 5th International Nursing Conference in Specialty was organized

The 5th International Nursing Conference was organized at the Faculty of Medical-Technical Sciences of the University of Elbasan.

This scientific event was made possible by the collaboration of the University of Elbasan with Universita degli Studi Dell'aquila and Universita degli Studi Aldo Moro in Italy. Participants were also representatives of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Tetova in Northern Macedonia as well as other universities with which the Faculty of Medical-Technical Sciences and the University of Elbasan have cooperation.

The ceremony held on this occasion was attended by students, lecturers, researchers, doctors, nurses and many other interested.

The conference was opened by the Dean of this Faculty prof. dr. Shine Hydri.

In his greeting speech the Rector of the University of Elbasan, "Alexander Xhuvani", prof. dr. Skender Topi thanked the participants, especially the researchers from the University of L'Aquila and Tetovo, students, lecturers and all those present.

Among other things prof. Topi said that above all this conference prioritizes students and that he is in the continuation of the conferences organized by the Faculty of Medical-Technical Sciences.

He has in particular thanked the researcher of the University of L'Aquila Maria Grazia Cifone for the support given by this university. Prof. Topi underlined the fact that for the first time in Italy, some of the lecturers of the Faculty of Medical-Technical Sciences are defending and constitutes a great success for the Albanian academic environment in this field. According to him, such collaborations with lecturers and students will have in the future.

He also thanked in particular the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing in Tetovo Kastriot Haxhirexha.

The conference was welcomed by the University of the University of L'Aquila Maria Grazia Cifone who in her speech thanked prof. dr. Skender Topi as the originator of the establishment of the Faculty of Medical-Technical Sciences and the colossal work done to realize the cooperation between the two universities.

Even the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Tetovo, Kastriot Haxhirexha, greeted on behalf of the Rector of the University of Tetova. He conveyed the best words for the University and the city of Elbasan

Also at this conference were the director of the Dasantila Tahiraj Hospital Center, President of the Nursing Order, Blerina Duka etc.

In a special ceremony, Rector prof. dr. Skender Topi, honored the Rector of the University of Tetova with certificates of Volunteer Ameti, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Kastriot Haxhirexha.
