The National Conference is held, "Telecommunication in Medicine"

At the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences at the University of Elbasan, the National Scientific Conference on "Telecommunication in Medicine" was held. This conference was the first with this theme organized in a university environment, constituting a novelty in this regard, in terms of telecommunication in the field of medicine, in the function of providing a maximum health service.

Greeting this conference Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof.Dr. Skender Topi, stressed that such initiatives are a great help in the daily work of hospital centers in the country. He emphasized that he has been a permanent objective of the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences, so that the scientific conferences held next to him have a direct impact on the health system, not only to remain written in paper and without coherence.

The attendees were also greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences Prof.Sc.Dr. Shkelqim Hydri, who emphasized the fact that the organization of such conferences at this faculty has already become a very positive tradition.

The conference also participated in some foreign professors Eminesia, such as Professor Maurizio Giuliani, Professor Pietro Leocato and Professor Vittorio Calvisi, who with their contemporary references, were a significant value by increasing its academic level.

Also during the conference experts in the public health information system, a center that has been operating for 10 years in the computerization of medical data at Mother Teresa University Hospital Center in Tirana, offered a ponorama of the system, from admission to patients to at their exit from the hospital.

In addition, the academic staff of the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences, together with the medical staff of the Xhaferr Kongoli Hospital Elbasan, offered their views on current data and ideas for developing telecommunications in medicine, as an instrument to need applied at national level.
