It took place for the third year in a row, the distribution ceremony of certificates of professional practices held at the University of Elbasan.

In her speech, Deputy Rector Prof. Elvira Fetahu, emphasized the importance of professional practice in advancing a student in his future career and encouraged attendees to continue their engagement in the desired areas.

The University of Elbasan welcomes year after year new and new beneficiaries of the employment promotion program, guaranteeing the acquisition of a qualifying experience and the further development of professional and personal skills.

The Westminster Foundation for Democracy, in cooperation with the University of Elbasan and the Parliamentary Institute, conducted a table of discussion on "Raising awareness of the importance of evaluating the space for corruption in Albanian legislation".

This roundtable brought together legal professionals, academics and students, to explore theoretical frameworks, study cases and practical approaches, to increase transparency, enrich the university curriculum as well as identifying opportunities for cooperation between the academic world and policymakers.

At the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences of the University of Elbasan, the scientific symposium on the results of the scientific study of the project entitled "On the Study and Evaluation of Mental Health in the Post Covid, in the 15-24 years of age" was held. This project comes as part of the projects acquired in cooperation with the National Agency for Scientific Research.

Deputy Rector of the University, Prof.As.Dr. Elvira Fetahu, in her speech, emphasized the common commitment to the implementation and success of projects, deepening knowledge in the field, as well as updating knowledge of students, to be more competitive in the labor market.

Following the activities within the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations Albania-Turkey, the Turkish Ambassador to Albania, Mr. Tayyar Kağan Atay, visited the University of Elbasan, where he met with Rector Prof. dr. Skender Topi, and held a conversation with university students and lecturers.

In his greeting speech, Prof. Topi, highlighted the excellent level of Albania-Turkey relationship, extraordinary cooperation with prestigious universities in Turkey, in the framework of the Erasmus+program, continuous joint projects that have increased year after year, as well as enabling Turkish language study at the University of Elbasan.

A-Step Cost Action organized the first training School at the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", on July 3-4, 2023 where he co-operated about 30 participants from 8 countries such as Albania, Ireland, Austria, Portugal, Carolina E North, the United States, Turkey, Bulgaria.

The training theme "Building Bridges with Participatory Research" brought together doctoral, new and post -documentary researchers whose research is related to individuals with disabilities and especially with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, as well as intellectual disability.
