The Department of Literature and Journalism, in cooperation with the Department of Linguistics at the University of Elbasan "Aleksandar Xhuvani", organized the next meeting in the framework of "October of the Book", with invited authors Agim Baçi and Ersid Karaj.

The meeting brought together lecturers and students who had the opportunity to share inspirational moments and in -depth discussions on the art of writing, personal experiences, and challenges as authors. In their speech, the authors shared experiences and thoughts on the creative process, the difficulties and pleasures that being a writer in the Albanian reality brings.

At the University of Elbasan “Alexander Xhuvani” was inaugurated the clinic of the Law, a two-year cooperation project with the OSCE presence in Albania, which will provide free legal aid to citizens in need. Students and law professors will be included in this service, combining theory with practice, while the equipment and literature donated by the OSCE will support their capacities.

"From Awareness to Action: Join in the fight against trafficking", was the motto of the organized meeting at the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani," in cooperation with the "other Vision" association, in the framework of October, which is known as a month of trafficking of human beings.

The activity was aimed at raising awareness and strengthening the common role of the academic community and local institutions in the fight against human trafficking.

In the Library of the Central Corps of the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", a meeting was held by Mr. Enrik Keco, representative of AADF on applications in Read programs. The training focused on getting acquainted with the participants with the Read program, the importance of cooperation, thus being part of practical training. Participants were able to answer specific projects about projects.

In the framework of "October of the book," University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani," in cooperation with the Department of Literature and Journalism and the Department of Linguistics, organized a meeting with Albanian journalist, writer, publicist and director, Mr. Fatmir Terziu.

During the conversation with students, Mr. Terziu shared his experience as a writer and publicist, but also the life experience. He focused on the necessity of preserving and promoting the Albanian language 🇦🇱 through the creation of good quality and publicist literature. At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Terziu donated his publications to the University Library, enriching the literature fund 📖📚 available to students and academic staff. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓
