The Academic Senate of the University of Elbasan “Alexander Xhuvani” is constituted for the legislature 2020-2024

On Tuesday, 02.09.2020 was organized the first meeting of the Academic Senate of the University of Elbasan “Aleksandar Xhuvani”, following the decision of the Institutional Election Commission, no. 29 dated 03.08.2020 “On the winner for members of the Academic Senate of the University of Elbasan“ Alexander Xhuvani ”.

The meeting was chaired by the Rector, Prof. dr. Skender Topi, who expressed his highest considerations, for the excellent work of the Academic Senate in the 2016-2020 legislature, where, among other things, shared with senators and expectations for the future.

In his speech, Prof. dr. Skender Topi, said that it is important to remember that in the capacity of the Rector and you in the capacity of senators, you are the expression of the will and choice of academic staff and students of this university. Only together and in the highest interest of the institution, we can face the challenges we expect. The electoral process was fair, transparent and widespread.

At the first meeting, on the proposal of the Rector, the Academic Senate voted and elected Prof. as .dr. Peci Naqellari.
