About the election process at “A. Xhuvani ”Elbasan

On 20.02.2012 at the University of "Alexander Xhuvani" Elbasan elections were held for authorities and governing bodies for a four -year term.

Three electoral troops participated in the elections:

• Academic staff
• Non -academic staff
• STUDENTS

Participation in the election was as follows:

• Academic staff 93.75%
• Non -Academic Personnel 92.1%
• Students 33.3%

After the end of the vote counting process, the CQZI announced the results of the voting for authorities and governing bodies as follows:

To managing authorities

• Prof. Prof. Dr. Liman Varoshi with 90.64% of the vote.
• Prof. Prof. Dr. Roland Gjini with 92.6% of the vote.
• Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences is declared the winner Prof. Dr. Wilson Kuri with 95.9 % of the vote.
• Prof. Prof. Neither. Peci Naqellari with 92.6%.
• Prof. Prof. Ass. Evis Kushi with 95.6% of the vote.

At the Faculty of Natural Sciences

• Dr. Dr. Islam Brahja with 73.3% of the vote, against Dr. Bederiana Shyti.
• Prof. Prof. Ass. Dr. Frederick Cane with 100% of votes
• Prof.Dr. Ziso Thomollari with 100% of votes
• Dr. Dr. Altin Gjevori with 100% of votes
• Prof. Prof. Dr. Skender Topi with 100% of votes

At the Faculty of Humanities

• Dr. Dr. Albert Riska with 88.8% of votes
• Dr. Dr. Vladimir Tavanxhiu with 100% of votes
• For the post of Head of the Department of Literature - the journalist is declared the winner Dr. Ismail Stafa with 58.3% of the vote against Prof.Ass. Blerina Suta and Dr. Elvira River
• For the position of Head of the Italian and French Department of Language Elda Talka received 45.4% of the vote and is not declared winner
• For the position of Head of the English and German Language Department no elections were held

At the Faculty of Education Sciences

• Dr. Dr. Flora Kristo with 100% of votes
• Prof. Prof. Ass. Dr. Piro Lazi with 60 % of votes
• Prof.Ass.dr. Adrian Papajani with 85.7% of the vote
• No elections were held for the post of head of the Civic Education Department
• For the post of sports department officer no elections were held

At the Faculty of Economics

• Dr. Dr. Altin Idrizi with 100% of votes
• Dr. Dr. Ali Turhani with 60% of votes
• Economics and law is declared the post of Department of Department. Alketa Vangjeli with 92% of the vote.
