Background

The first issue of the University of Elbasan Scientific Bulletin "Alexander Xhuvani" came into circulation in 1997. In 1999, by decision of the Commission for Reconstruction of Scientific Periodicals at the Ministry of Education and Science, the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani “The status of the periodic scientific body was given to be taken into consideration by the Scientific Qualification Commission.

In the first issue, the bulletin included articles of various scientific disciplines, such as philology, pedagogy and elements from tradition. The content of the scientific bulletin consisted of several rubrics, such as: Mathematics, Language and Literature, History and Sociology, Didactic and Pedagogy, Articles Evaluation. These rubrics served as the basis for the creation of scientific series: the series of natural sciences, social sciences and the series of psycho-pedagogical sciences. Currently the Bulletin publishes articles of the natural, economic, medical, social and education sciences. This bulletin aims to meet the highest standards in the research activity of the university.
