The first table of women's health discussions develops at the University of Elbasan

The Department of English and German Languages ​​at the University of Elbasan has organized the first table of discussion on women's health. The organization of this roundtable has been an initiative of Fulbraj program researcher Iclal Vanesenbeeck, who for one semester is part of the Department of English and German at the University of Elbasan, and the support of the head of this department Prof.Asc.Dr. Laureta Vavla. Also present was Meghan McGill, Deputy Chief of the Office of Public Relations at the US Embassy in Tirana. The discussion table is moderated by Dr. Eriada Çela, lecturer of the Department, head of the subject studies at the English branch at the University of Elbasan. The panel was present doctors, gynecologists, nurses, psychologists, representatives from non -governmental organizations and teachers. These discussion tables aim to encourage discussions on gender -based issues in academic environments.

Meanwhile Meghan McGill, Deputy Chief of the Office of Public Relations at the US Embassy in Tirana, was also received in a meeting by the Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof.Dr. Skender Topi, where it was discussed on the deepening of co -operation between the Embassy and the University. During this meeting, the Rector emphasized the university readiness to work with joint projects in various fields in the interest of both parties. Prof. Skender Topi has said that strengthening collaborations with the US Embassy in Tirana and American universities remains a priority of his work towards the University of Elbasan.
