The University of Elbasan and the Austrian Embassy hold the meeting "Scope and Limits, Chances and Risk of Transformation Process in Balkan"

The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy in Albania, organized the meeting "Scope and Limits, Chances and Risk of Transformation Process in Balkan" with the participation of the Austrian Embassy Mission in Albania dr. Christian Steiner and prof. Paul Lendvai.

The meeting was attended by students, lecturers, researchers, historians, etc.

In his speech the head of the Austrian Embassy Mission in Albania, dr. Christian Steiner, highlighted the contribution of prof. Paul Lendvai in the study of the Balkan issues as a whole and Albania in particular.

Prof. Paul Lendvai made a historic presentation of the situation in the Balkans and focused specifically in the Albanian reality during the years of dictatorship and democratic change. It focused on the chances and risks in the transformation processes involved in the Balkan countries.

Then the meeting continued in the form of questions and discussions.

Head of the Austrian Embassy Mission in Albania dr. Christian Steiner and prof. Paul Lendvaai was also received in a meeting by the Rector of the University of Elbasan, "Alexander Xhuvani", prof. dr. Skender Topi.
