The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" participates in the first HACKATHON, information technology.

The first HACKATHON, of information technology which challenged "our country's attractive nomads for digital nomads", organized by EU4innovation, Euinalbania and Gizalbania, was closed.

The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" was represented by a team of lecturers, students of Alumn.

The team was made up of students Megi Kume, Oigen Kurti and Florjan Korra. By Alumni-Artan Shquu and was chaired by information technology lecturer, Dr. Rexhep Rada.

The University of Elbasan came out among the 11 winning teams, selected among hundreds of applications from Albania.

The project proposal presented by the University of Elbasan team was focused on the introduction of IoT and Artificial Intelligence technology in Smart City.

The participating teams were greeted and complimented by Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and Minister Eduart Shalesi.

They expressed maximum commitment to identifying the problems that have the start-ups in Albania and the efforts to create a legal framework for their promotion.
