The exhibition "Shkodra, Family, Culture, My History" opens
After Shkodra and Prizren, the exhibition "Shkodra, Family, Culture, My History" came to the city of Elbasan, in the Library of "Alexander Xhuvani" University, in an event organized by the Department of Linguistics, with the support of the EU Rectorate, on February 6 and 7, 2020.
"Shkodra, family, culture, my story" is the third photographic exhibition for collective memory. This exhibition is dedicated to cultural-artistic life in Shkodra before 1990 and 44 competitors with 306 photographs participated in it.
Product of the annual competition announced by the organization for sustainable Urban Go2 planning, the exhibition is carried out by extracting from the family archives of the photographs taken before 1990, along with the stories behind these photos.
The first exhibition was opened in 2016 at the Shkodra Museum of Historical, Category I. Cultural Monument was dedicated to the bike, and there were 26 competitors with 66 photographs.
The second exhibition (2018) dedicated to the Shkodra apartment was an absolute innovation, as for the first time an activity was moved from the city center of Shkodra, to be held in a neighborhood where no cultural activity was ever developed. The backyard of the century. XVIII, Category I cultural monument, welcomed 37 competitors with 165 photographs, while its porch was the cinema where the documentary film "People, the City" was shown.
In these days the exhibition was visited not only by university students and lecturers, but also high school students, 9-year-olds and citizens of Elbasan.
