The book "Austria Austria" is promoted at the University of Elbasan

The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy in Albania and the Faculty of Humanities, have promoted the book "Austria Austria since 1945".

Present at the event was the head of the mission loaded with the work he dr. Christian Steiner.

Previously, the Rector of the University, prof. dr. Skender Topi, held a meeting with Ambassador Steiner, introducing him to the history, capacities and weight of the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" in Albanian higher education.

The meeting also highlighted the good cooperation that exists between the University of Elbasan and the Austrian Embassy in Albania.

Ambassador Cristian Steiner thanked the Rector prof. dr. Skender Topi and guaranteed a more fruitful cooperation in the future.

Then the book "Austria Austria since 1945" was inaugurated with Lindita Koman's translation. Students, lecturers and lovers of the book were present at this meeting.

In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, prof. neither. dr. Majlinda period, highlighted the special relations that have existed between Austria and Albania for more than 100 years. She also underlined the crucial role that Austria played in the difficult historical moments of Albania and the Albanian people.

Prof. neither. dr. Majlinda Perriu also mentioned the fact that a large number of Austrian and Albanian scholars have collaborated over the years by strengthening and raising the relations between the two peoples in several areas.

Ambassador dr. Christian Steiner in his speech reinforced the very good relations that exist between the two countries. He said that this book best reveals Austria's literary values ​​and further refines the historical and cultural relations between the two peoples.

At this meeting he also greeted Deputy. Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences prof. neither. Emma Kristo.
