The University of Elbasan awarded the title "Honoris Causa" Professor Maurizio Giuliani.

The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", through a solemn ceremony in the Academic Senate, has awarded the title "Honoris Causa" to the Italian professor of L` Aquila, Maurizio Giuliani. In his speech, in the capacity of the President of the Academic Senate, the Rector, prof. dr. Skender Topi stressed that “this ceremony is dedicated to a doctor, a professor but above all a friend of this university. The University of Elbasan is a University of Elbasan Tradition and Culture, but above all a university of success. Together with students we are a single body that interacts with sync to fulfill our mission, high quality and modern education. ”

The two reviewers presented the academic, scientific activity as well as the cooperation between the two institutions, the University of Elbasan and the University of L'Uquila Italy.

Then the Rector was handed over to prof. Maurizio Giuliani, title "Honoris Causa" with the motivation:

"For special contribution to Albanian higher education and scientific research on new technologies in the field of medical-technical sciences".

"You have shown to be a visionary, cooperative, innovative but above all an integral part of the University of Elbasan," Rector Topi quoted.

Quite excited by this title prof. Giuliani said that since breaking in Albania he has known extraordinary land with wonderful people. He said he feels quite appreciated and proud of this title. He underlined that the link between the University of L` Aquila and the University of Elbasan is excellent and that Rector Skender Topi is indisputable. Among other things, prof. Giuliani stated that he will continue to do the best for Albania.
