Erasmus + days at the University of Elbasan

They took place at the University of Elbasan, "Alexander Xhuvani", the days of Erasmus + under the slogan "Erasmus + days. A Story to be Told ..."

This event was attended by 22 representatives of partner universities with whom the EU has been collaborating for years. The opening ceremony was greeted by the Rector of EU, Prof. dr. Skender Topi, who, among other things, stated: Erasmus+ week is first organized at the University of Elbasan. Not unintentionally we have titled "A History to Tell" because thanks to the Erasmus+program, each of us in this room has one. It has been over 30 years since Erasmus+ is the most successful program for youth education and sports.

This program has supported students and young people to gain new experiences, develop life skills and take their place in society as confident and engaged citizens. Erasmus+ has shown us that by opening up to others, we can give many young people to experience what it means to be a European citizen. It makes changes simply by exposing young people and international education systems. So I want to encourage more students to participate in this experience.

Also representative of the Erasmus + National Office in Tirana, Ms. Elona Saraçi, welcomed the event and congratulated the University of Elbasan for its organization and the widespread participation of partner universities.

Vice. Rector of EU, Prof. neither. dr. Peci Naqellari, in his welcome speech, described that Erasmus + is one of the best examples of what the EU can do for its citizens. This activity today serves as a starting point for strengthening cooperation, expanding and promoting it in the future, reducing costs, increasing efficiency and benefits of internationalization.

The activity concludes with the Erasmus + Fair UE Fair, open to students and academic staff of all study programs.
