Starts at the University of Elbasan Project Justice for All-Albania

USAID, in cooperation with the University of Elbasan, "Alexanderjuvani", today launched the first training session "Develop the investigative mindset in the digital age".

This training session is attended by students of the Bachelor Study Program in Journalism, who will be handled by Michael Alexander, International Media Advisor during the three training sessions in December, January and March.

Michael Alexander has worked for the BBC, APTN and the National Multimedia Agency in the UK with over 35 years of television, radio, print press and digital journalism. He has been editor of news editions and several programs, producer and reporter in the UK and abroad. With a long experience in investigative journalism, he trained journalists in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Malaysia, Southern Sudan, Kenya etc.

During the training students will be able to discuss the topics about:

Investigative mindset;

How to be a researcher;

Reporting in the world of multi-platforms;

The increasing importance of ethical journalism in the digital and social media era;

Reporting and writing on different platforms;

Journalism of intelligent cell phones as well as many practical coercive exercises.
