Teacher Education Network in Switzerland, Albania and Kosovo

The University of Elbasan, "Alexander Xhuvani", held the next meeting in the framework of the implementation of the LECU project "Cultures of Learning at Universities".

This project, of a very special character, comes as a successful cooperation between Switzerland, Albania and Kosovo.

The delegations were received by the Rector prof. dr. Skender Topi who introduced them to the rich tradition of the University of Elbasan, "Alexander Xhuvani", in the preparation of teachers. This tradition begins with the "Normal" school which opened its doors since 1909.

The LECU project aims to promote academic exchange and scientific research regarding the continued education of teachers between universities in Switzerland, Albania and Kosovo. During the visit to the University of Elbasan, partners discussed their experience and current findings of higher education research, focusing on university learning crops.

The project promotes intercultural learning and a deeper experience of international cooperation in education.
