The University of Elbasan hosts the ambassadors of France and Romania in the framework of the cooperation of the Francophone countries.

At the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani" within the spring of Francophone in Albania, the activity "The main moments of historical relations between the two Francophone peoples such as Romania and Albania" has been developed.

This event marks the next successful cooperation of the University of Elbasan with important actors of the international, national, local and academic profile. On this occasion were the Ambassador of France to Albania, Ms. Christina Vasak ,, Ambassador of Romania, Mr. Mircea Perpelea, Professors Neritan Ceka, Kopi Kyçyku, academic staff of the University of Elbasan, representatives of local government and Francophone students.

The ambassadors were received by the deputy. Rector Peci Naqellari who conveyed thanks for the presence in this important activity. "This activity marks the next successful cooperation of the University of Elbasan with important actors of the international, national, local and academic profile," said Deputy. Rector Naqellari.

Further prof. Naqelllari focused on the importance of this political, economic, social and national aspects for the country's integration into the European Union.

He also highlighted the fact of increasing the mobility of lecturers and students of the University of Elbasan, many of whom are studying in universities of Europe and around the world.

The guests delivered three papers focusing on the main moments of historical relations between the two Francophone peoples such as Romania and Albania.
