Swedish parliamentaryary meetings and open lectures at the University of Elbasan

The Chairman of the Swedish Parliamentary Committee on EU Affairs Assa Romson, paid a visit to Elbasan's "Alexander Xhuvani" University. Initially she was received at a meeting by the Rector of the University Prof. Dr.Skender Topi. Parliamentary Assa Romson promised her support in this direction, stressing that she would immediately enable the contacts between the University's Directorate of Foreign Relations, with the Swedish Embassy in Tirana and the Swedish universities.

Then the Swedish parliamentary Romson accompanied by the Dean of Natural Sciences Prof.Dr. Sotir Mali has conducted an open lecture with students of this faculty on "Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development on the EU Agenda-the prospects of a former green minister from Sweden". Even during this open lecture Mrs. Romson has emphasized the importance of the environmental agenda for a safe future of the present generations and those to come.
