Meeting at the University Library on the occasion of International Book Day

On the symbolic date, dedicated to the book, April 23, in the premises of the Library of "Alexander Xhuvani" University, a meeting with creators, students, library readers, lecturers, representatives from the district library, book and literature, was organized. At this meeting, guests of honor were the well -known writer of children's and adult literature, Mr. Viron Kona, as well as the writer and translator Ms. Geverina Muzhaqi. It is also worth noting the guests from the district library, "Qemal Baholli", director Mr. Aida Gashi and specialist Ms. Manjola Hatellari. Following the speech of entry from the Director of the University Library Elvis Dhono, the activity continued with the presentation organized by students of the Language and Literature Study Program in consultation with the library. After receiving the guests of honor, some of the students interpreted various literary materials for those present. The discussions accompanied this event to the future for the development of book culture. The program format aimed at harmonizing between the parties: institution and students. Finally, the reference students were evaluated by a jury composed of Mr. Viron Kona, Ms. Geverina Muzhaqi and the student Frosina Tola on the best creation and interpretation. The winners were: Fiorentina Balla for the best creation and Era Sulovari for the best interpretation. The two students received from a book as a symbolic gift, in order to encourage them to move forward in the path of knowledge and literature.
