The Social Worker Order begins

Has begun work after the law adopted and the instruction of the Minister of Social Welfare and Youth, the Order of the Social Worker. To present this order and the steps to be followed for its institutionalization, a work-shop has been held at the University of Elbasan, with students and social workers, state institutions and non-governmental associations operating in the field of social services, where present were present Blendi Klosi and Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof.Dr. Skender Topi.

Speaking in front of the attendees Rector Prof.Dr. Skender Topi has emphasized the importance of establishing the Order of the Social Worker within the professions already regulated in our country. He further stated that:

“The diploma received at universities will be the basic criterion that an applicant must have to obtain the license of the Social Worker Order, so I am happy to start this process today with this work-shop at the Alexander University premises Xhuvani ”. I am full of hope that this important process will go well and our university will provide full support in the implementation of the order. We will also support the opening of Info- Points at the Department of Social Sciences, so that all interested parties can be informed in the best way. "

Meanwhile, speaking at this meeting, Minister of Social Friendship and Youth, Blendi Klosi has emphasized the importance of the role of social worker in Albanian society. He emphasized that the time has come for the role of the social worker to come growing, especially in a very important area of ​​social decision -making, such as decisions to deprive parenting rights, persons abusing children.
