Starts at EU New Academic Year 2016-2017

At the "Alexander Xhuvani University of Elbasan, the start of the new academic year 2016-2017 took place. In addition to the governing authorities of this university present at the ceremony were the Mayor of Elbasan Qazim Sejdini and the Mayor of the District Council Bukurosh Stafa.

Addressing the students present the Rector of the University Prof.Dr. Skender Topi, welcomed, promising the utmost commitment to all the staff he runs for quality education, in order to issue valuable diplomas for the labor market.

Further focusing on collaborations with counterpart universities, Rector Skender Topi said:

“I want to declare you that we as a university are making all the efforts for our students to be European students. To this end only in recent months, we have signed cooperation agreements with counterpart universities in the US, Chicago, New York etc. and in Europe, with universities in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic and other countries. In these agreements what we have sought has been, above all, the mobility of the lecturers and in particular the students ”.

Meanwhile, focusing on the accreditation process of the University of Elbasan, Rector Skender Topi, addressing the students, stated:

“You continue their studies at a university that has been subjected to the first higher education institutions in Albania, and the accreditation process. We are waiting for the full report of the British Accreditation Agency, with the confidence and the hope that that report will certify the achievements and development of this university and will be another element that will add to the weight and importance of the diploma you will Get here.
