The new academic year begins at "Alexander Xhuvani" University

At the "Alexander Xhuvani" University of Elbasan, the 2015-2016 academic year was held. In addition to the Rector Prof.Dr. Liman Varoshi, Vice. Rectors and deans of this university were present at the ceremony were also the Mayor of Elbasan Qazim Sejdini and the prefect of Arben Kamami.

On behalf of the local authorities, the mayor of Elbasan has urged success to students and lecturers at the start of the new academic year. The University of Elbasan counts 5 faculties in which, in all study cycles, about 13,000 students study. This university offers 39 study programs in the first cycle of bachelor study. In the second cycle he offers 27 study programs in professional master's and 17 study programs in the Master of Science. Meanwhile, the University of Elbasan also offers the third cycle of studying doctoral programs, where it offers doctorates in albanology, linguistics and history profiles.
