The EU Senate gives the title "Honoris Causa" to Doctor of Science Ylli Çabiri

The Senate of the "Alexander Xhuvani" University in Elbasan, during a solemn ceremony, handed the title of Doctor "Honoris Causa" Doctor of Science Ylli Çabiri. Opening the ceremony of the case where the Minister of Education and Sports was also Lindita Nikolla as well as MPs and senior local authorities of Elbasan, Rector Prof. Dr. Liman Varoshi stated: “To Mr. Cabiri the city of Elbasan has obligations of great. What complements Mr. Çabiri's image during this time is his direct protagonism in many activities and development projects that focus not only on the development of Elbasan but all over Albania, especially in terms of the country's integration into the European Union ”

Following the speech of Rector Liman Varoshi two Senate members Prof. Dr. Jani Dode and Prof.Dr. Peci Naqellari has read in front of the attendees the recipes on the concrete activity of Dr. Ylli Çabiri, on which the evaluation of the title of Doctor "Honoris Causa" was based.

The ceremony was also greeted by Elbasan Mayor Qazim Sejdini, who praised modesty as the most appropriate dimension in the life and activity of Ylli Cabiri.

In her greeting speech, the Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, said, among other things, that “this title is an added value for the University of Elbasan. It is not just my opinion to Dr. Cabir combines many components, scientific, professional, intellectual as well as human intellectuals that rarely see them in a single personality, but with great prosperity and wealth. This ceremony also makes Dr.'s contribution special. Chabiri not only in Albania, but also beyond the border and in the meantime a character who remains to speak with deeds and such value is an honor that is part of the Senate of this University. "

The greeting of Prof.Dr.Spiro Qirko, who brought to the audience of the doctoral protection in France of Ylli Çabiri, was also excited. The ceremony was also welcomed by the member of the EU Academic Senate of Luciano Boçi, who has conveyed appreciation for the personality and contribution of Ylli Çabiri as one of the most prominent Elbasan intellectuals over the years.

After thanking everyone in attendance for attending the ceremony, Dr. Ylli Çabiri wanted to deliver a message to the Minister of Education and Sport Mrs. Lindita Nikolla:

With great humility please support this university, not as a common suburban university, but as a true university, as the descendant of the Normal 1909, as the State University of Teaching in Albania, which radiates to all Albanian territories. As a university that as another university in Albania and not only, there are 4 MPs in the Albanian Parliament. By supporting this university you support a historical tradition that the previous system has tried unsuccessfully to alienate, support education in Albania in Kosovo and beyond ”.

Following these long applauding words by the participants, the official ceremony was held where the Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof. Dr. Liman Varoshi submitted the title of Doctor "Honoris Causa" Doctor of Science Ylli Çabiri with the motivation "On the contribution to the qualitative development of education in the district of Elbasan in general and university in particular ”.
