The international conference "Plurilingualization in Higher Education" takes place

The Department of English and German Languages, at the Faculty of Humanities, at the University of Elbasan, held the international conference "Plurilingualism in Higher Education", with the participation of scientific scholars from home and abroad.

This conference also coincided with the 20th anniversary of the opening of the English language branch at this university. At the opening ceremony of the conference, in addition to the Rector of Prof. Dr. Liman Varoshi and his other leaders, Mrs. Valerie O'Brien was also present the Director of Public Relations at the US Embassy in Tirana, Mrs. Aida Berxolli Director of the British Council in Albania, Mr. Earl Wall Director General of the Peace Corps in Albania, Mr. Agim Leka Advisor to the Minister of Education and Sports and many other guests.

Speaking to the attendees, the Rector of the University of Prof. Dr. Liman Varoshi welcomed the guests and emphasized that scientific research and conferences that serve this research are at the center of the work of "Alexander Xhuvani" University, to return this institution in a real university environment. He also emphasized that foreign languages ​​at this university are among the study programs that have been worthy of respect for the tradition of the University of Elbasan, in the teaching branches.

After greeting other guests, the conference has developed its work for two days.
