British Ambassador Visit to the University of Elbasan

UK Ambassador to Tirana Nicholas Cannon has conducted an open lecture at Elbasan's "Alexander Xhuvani" University on the topic, "Cultural Relations: British Perspective and the Role of the British Council. Initially in his visit to the university, the ambassador was received at a meeting by the Rector Prof.Dr. Liman Varoshi, a meeting in which the relations between the two institutions, are also validated, also threatened by signing the agreement with the British Council.

Ambassador Cannon then addressed a greeting message to the Academic Senate of "Alexander Xhuvani" University, during which he welcomed the role of this university in the Higher Education area in Albania, expressing conviction that this role will also be strengthened in the future. He also emphasized that the presence of the United Kingdom through the British Council will be even greater with this university.

Ambassador Nicholas Cannon has held in his latest stop at the University of Elbasan and the open lecture with students and lecturers of this university, where he presented the cultural and educational cooperation offered by the United States Embassy in Tirana, as well as the British state and has invited all students and lecturers to become part of these opportunities.
