Second international conference at Economic Faculty is held

The Faculty of Economics of "Alexander Xhuvani" University in Elbasan has organized the second conference entitled "Regional Challenges for Sustainable Development". Already turned into a very positive tradition of this faculty this conference has gathered scholars from all over the region, but also many guests from Western European countries who have presented their works and studies, while the minister was present in of education and sports Lindita Nikolla.

Taking the word at the beginning of this conference the Dean of Economics Dr. Nada Krypa, welcomed all those present, stressing that such events have now become a tradition for the Faculty of Economics of the University of Elbasan, which is strongly questioning in terms of increasing its quality. The Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof.Dr. Liman Varoshi, which has emphasized the aspect of the authenticity of the scientific work of each researcher by eliminating elements of plagiarism that may be observed in several studies. Former Dean of this faculty actually Member of Parliament of Albania Prof.Asc.Dr. Evis Kushi as part of the scientific council of this conference has praised the work done by all participants for their contribution to this conference. Minister of Education and Science Lindita Nikolla in her speech emphasized that the presence in such an academic environment made her feel honored. She emphasized that the ministry it runs will try to increase funds for future scientific research, stressing that this aspect is very important in the future development of Albanian universities.

She also emphasized that very soon all public and non -public universities will be subject to the accreditation process by a foreign company, saying that the University of Elbasan will be in the vanguard of this process. The conference then continued its work where the participants were divided into the special panels where they presented their studies.
