Remzi Përnaska is honored with the title Doctor Honoris Causa

Academic Senate of "Alexander Xhuvani" University in Elbasan given the high title Doctor Honoris Causa Prof.Dr. Remzi Pernaska. In the motivation of this title read and submitted by the head of this Senate at the same time Rector of the University of Elbasan Prof.Dr. Liman Varoshi was written: For a prominent contribution to the field of Albanian linguistics and culture, to empower, contemporary and outline the infrastructure of scientific knowledge and teaching, as well as for the support of scientific research in these fields at the Faculty of Humanities of Alexander Xhuvani University of Elbasan.

Meanwhile in his speech before the submission of the title Rector Liman Varoshi in the capacity of the proposer of his award the title has evaluated Remzi's figure in the field of Albanian language studies and especially in the field of syntax, as an extraordinary research work and scientific which has set its contribution to language studies in the country. At the same time, he appreciated the contribution of Persnaska to his activity in these areas of France and in the University of Elbasan which has an early and close cooperation with him.

Then the recipients appointed by Senate Prof. Dr. Roland Gjini and Prof.Dr. Tomorr Plangarica have presented their recipes to the audience of the activity of Prof.Dr. Remzi Persnaska on the basis of which the high title Doctor Honoris Causa has also been made.
