In the framework of the "Albanian Language Year," announced by the Ministry of Education and Sport, University of Elbasan "Aleksandar Xhuvani", Faculty of Humanities, in cooperation with the University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, "Luigj Gurakuqi" University of Shkodra, Faculty of Social Sciences, Albanological Institute of Prishtina, "Alexander Moisiu" University of Durres, Faculty of Education, "Fan S. Noli" University of Korça, Faculty of Education and Philology, and Academy of Youth at the Academy of Academy The sciences organized the scientific symposium "National Language and Identity" for two consecutive days.

This activity brought together scholars from Albania, Kosovo and the Diaspora, who dealt with the achievements, challenges and prospects of Albanian language studies, the role of literature as a linguistic platform and the impact of globalization on national identity. The activity served as an important platform for the exchange of ideas, where scholars shared their experiences, dealt with different challenges and shed light on new prospects regarding the development of the Albanian language and the preservation of national identity.
