Rector Conference

On April 20, 2023, the next meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions in Albania took place.

During this meeting some of the most important issues of common interest were discussed for higher education institutions in the country such as:

Continuous communication with the Ministry of Education and Sports, to undertake some legal initiatives by it, such as the development of distance study programs, determining the level of competence of foreign -language announcements for candidates who will develop cycle studies third doctoral and specialization;

Coordination of joint policies and agreement to reach an agreement between the Republic of Cyprus, Greece and Albania within European Higher Education Developments of interest to the participating parties, and beyond;

Principle approval of the project strategy for an environmentally friendly university.

Members of the Rector Conference reconfirmed with unanimous approval, the Presidency of this Conference, re -electioning the current President, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and 2 (two) Vice Presidents, Prof. Dr. Skender Topi and Prof. Dr. Tonin Gjuraj.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the president of the Conference of Rectors asked the members of the Conference, the notification of all students and public and non-public HEIs for participation in the International Student Conference, on May 18-19, 2023.

Rector Conference
