The Swedish Ambassador to Albania, Ms. Elsa Håstad, meeting at the University of Elbasan “Alexander Xhuvani”

The Deputy Rector of the University of Elbasan welcomed the Ambassador of Sweden to Albania, Ms. Elsa Håstad.

During this meeting they discussed the cooperation so far and bridges of future cooperation with higher education institutions in Sweden, as well as other partner institutions.

This meeting took place in the framework of the 8th round roundtable of gender issues on "Activism of Women for Gender Equality", organized in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Languages.

Ms. Hå stated along with Mr. Michele Ribotta, representative of UN Women in Albania and Ms. Mirela Gjoni of the Elbasan Women's Forum discussed with students about empowering the voice of women in society, their wider participation in different spheres of society.
