At the University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", the activity on "Alliance against Hate Language A comprehensive discussion" takes place

The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", in cooperation with the Council of Europe, the People's Advocate, the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination and the Authority of the Visual Media, conducted the activity "Alliances Against Hate Language A Comprehensive Discussion".

This activity was organized as part of the 12th anniversary of the adoption of the Law on Protection from Discrimination.

The Rector of the University, Prof. Dr.Skender Topi, in his greeting speech, emphasized the importance of social and institutional cooperation in preventing the phenomenon of discrimination and the use of hate speech. He also focused on the current situation Europe is going through, expressing solidarity in distancing themselves from any form of violence, protecting and preserving democracy and peace.

Attendees expressed in their speech the importance in identifying the elements of discrimination and hate speech, their finding, thereby contributing to minimizing as a phenomenon and the impact it creates on society.
