The University of Elbasan "Alexander Xhuvani", in collaboration with the Business Advisory Board, organized a workshop on the topic: "Via Egnatia - Potential Economic Development, first as a tourist asset".

In this event, the President of the Albanian Federation of Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism, at the same time deputy mayor of Elbasan, Mr. Artur Guni, in his presentation, emphasized the recognition of the Albanian territories and beyond, through activation in organized expeditions and guides.

During the workshop, students became acquainted with history through sports, different types of tourism, gastronomy, focusing mostly on a historic look at Egnatia Road and at the same time seeing it as an economic development potential.
