DUALKO – Strengthening of relations between HEIs and the industry sector through Dual Education in Albania and Kosovo, with a focus on ICT
DUALKO builds on best practices from Austria, Poland, and Cyprus, adapting flexible DHE frameworks to local institutional and policy contexts. Key activities include developing four adaptable DHE models (two for Albania and two for Kosovo), training academic staff and industry supervisors, and launching a CMS/eLearning platform to support collaboration between universities and businesses. The project's long-term impact includes the institutionalization of DHE models, stronger university-business partnerships, and a more skilled workforce — contributing to reduced youth unemployment and mitigating brain drain in the region. The consortium comprises 10 partner institutions from Albania, Kosovo, Austria, Poland, and Cyprus.
